Global Supplier Day 2009
On 2nd of December the 8th Global Supplier Day of the BL Sound Solutions took place in Vienna. Harald Prenner, Global Purchasing Manager, was proud to welcome 70 participants from NXP Sound Solutions supply base. During this event these key partners got an update on the global NXP strategy as well as from Sound Solutions. Suppliers appreciated as well to get a better view on the financial situation of NXP and an outlook of our New Business Initiatives.
Beside a market and customers voice update additionally Ulf Sparka from the CPO Management Team informed the suppliers about global Purchasing initiatives and requirements for 2010. After more specific Sound Solutions Purchasing requirements the suppliers were asked to work on specific topics during a workshop.
One of the highlights during this event was the Quality Award Celebration. Josef Nieszner,
Director Global Supply Chain, handed over the Gold and the Bronze Award to the best Suppliers.
In general the feedback from our supply base was very positive and they are
looking forward to the Global Supplier Day 2010.
